Resolved: Defective package received with nothing in the box

I received a package (that I never signed up for) with an invoice but no cookbook inside and a notice from the postal service that it was received this way; it was opened. The invoice says it is the Taste of Home Baking Classic.

I don't want to receive these books automatically to try out, and I would like to have this taken off my account as I didn't receive it and have nothing to return to you. I can send a picture attachment of the package received.

The magazine itself is great. However due to the fact I had subscribed for a one year subscription and said subscription expires in 5 months instead of 12 I canceled everything. Ing

I subscribed to this magazine in July 2025 for one year. On August 5, I received notice to renew my subscription.

When I contacted the company, they advised that my subscription expires in December 2025, which is 5 months, not the 12 I paid for.

I canceled the subscription immediately. I am waiting to see if they will be honest and refund the remaining 11 months of my subscription.

Bad customer service!

I sent an email canceling my Taste of Home magazine, recieved it anyway with a bill, then ended up paying $5 and a $40 subscription to something else and just received one in the mail with a bill. Impossible to get ahold of a human customer service person!

Annual book being sent without my permission

Every year you send me an annual book that I do not want and then charge me for it. I want this year's canceled and my money returned before you ship out this book.

I have a yearly subscription to the magazine that I like, but I do not want any books! I called last year and told them this and thought everything was fixed. Now there is another pending charge in my bank account for another book!

I will cancel my subscription if this does not get fixed this year and my money returned. Thank you.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. After writing a review of Taste of Home special delivery box on PissedConsumer, I received an email the same day!

from Taste of Home saying they will be refunding my purchase price. I do not think I would have ever gotten a response from them without PissedConsumer’s help.

Thank you! for providing a resource for unhappy consumer experiences.

Im really unsatisfied with Taste of Home Special Delivery subscription box. They are eager to have you sign on with them for subscription boxes but Ive been trying to get in touch with them to return and receive a refund for a box I thought had been cancelled.

I. Get. Nothing!

Ive tried to reach them in Facebook, thru their website, returning an email they wrote me, thru twitter and now Im writing you. Can you help?

Missing Taste of Home Special Delivery boxes

Over the past 8 months I have been charged for Special Delivery boxes three times and to date I have not received any. Prior to December of 2024 I had been receiving them regularly.

I have tried emailing them four times and have received no response. There is no phone number for me to call them.

While I enjoy the boxes and would like to continue to receive them but I cant continue paying for nothing.

Tried everything in the book to resolve.

I placed my box subscription for the year in December 2024 for approximately $150.00. I received my first box shortly after.

Since then, I have not received my Spring or Summer boxes. They keep telling me they are short an item and will receive my box the next month. This has been going on since March 2025.
They only respond with I am sorry for the delay and you will receive your box by next month.
Please advise why I am not receiving my subscription.

I had this subscription for several years and stopped last year, only to start one again. I would like either my boxes or a refund.

I was HACKED 4 times SO I NO LONGER HAVE E-MAIL I'm 81 years old. After I recieved an Offer to Join a BROTHEL.

Since I've been getting the Magazine since 1973 and still have them all I BELIEVE that tells the STORY. I'm by my self and have new Neighbors, So, no I do not.

But I do share with my people in other States and Countries...

User's recommendation: RIGHT MY FAVORITE RECPICES, OLD ONES LIKE OXTAIL & SCRAPPLE, and some of the younger ones are amazed how good the dishes are when told after Dinner what they ate. and ask for the Recipe...Most ask for the Sour Dough one. And my Moms Eggplant casserole one. So I do Copy Recipes and send them on..OH I do tweek some first take out Broccoli and add Asparagus for unliked to like.Thank You.

In December 2024, I paid for a year subscription to the Special Delivery boxes. It is now July, and I have received the December box and nothing more.

I have contacted customer service repeatedly and have been given the runaround over and over. Meanwhile, I see Taste of Home advertising heavily for these boxes on social media, which infuriates me! They took my money and won't send me the boxes I paid for, won't give me a good reason why, and I'm just supposed to be okay with that?? I will NEVER give another dime to anything Taste of Home again.

They are liars and thieves and cannot be trusted. Stay away!

Continued notifications even though the bill was paid

Notifications sent stating I owed and had already paid. Looks like an offer for extending another year for $10 but wrapped up in a statement looking like a second notification that bill was not paid.
